Two Lesleys have united over the West Coast Eagles.

The Advocate caught up with them last week when Lesley Frost was getting her hair done by Lesley Rowdon at Swan Hairdressers in the Woodlake Shopping Centre.

“I arrived here in November 1988 from Devon in the UK,” the former said.

“I got addicted to the tight shorts and nice butts.”

Ms Frost will watch the preliminary at home or in one of the aged care homes she works in.

She said she was disappointed local football team Ellenbrook had changed their name from the Eels to the Dockers.

“I always think north of the river should be Eagles and south the Dockers,” she said.

The Eagles’ qualifying final win over Hawthorn was the first full game hairdresser and rugby fan Lesley had watched on TV since moving here from London in 2002.

“Only this year I got interested and watching them at the weekend was quite exciting because it was a good game,” she said.

“People in the hairdressers talk about the football and it helps to know what has happened.”
