Almost 100 men, women and children donned red poppies and family members’ war medals to mark the sombre occasion at the Ellenbrook cenotaph.
Ellenbrook RSL Club, Ellenbrook Lions Club, local and State government representatives and local school students all laid wreaths.
The Last Post was played and a minute of silence was held before the crowd enjoyed morning tea at the Senior Social Space.
