A CRASH in Lexia this morning caused peak hour chaos on Gnangara Road eastbound, forcing commuters to detour through Ellenbrook as the road was closed for more than two hours.
Police said the driver of a truck was trapped after colliding with a tractor at the intersection of Beechboro Road North just before 7am.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services crews managed to free the truck driver, who was taken to Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) with non-life threatening injuries.
The tractor driver was also taken to RPH.

Main Roads said the road reopened after 9am.
Police are investigating.
