Light the Night: second year for event at Aveley Central Park

Montana ArdonThe Advocate

BLUE, white and gold lanterns will Light the Night at Aveley Central Park on Friday.

For the second year in a row in, patients, survivors and supporters will walk with the different coloured lanterns around Central Park in a display of hope and love to raise money for blood cancer.

Last year, 200 participants took part and raised more than $11,000.

Organiser and leukaemia survivor Stephanie Brown hopes this year will be bigger and better, with food trucks, raffles and entertainment on offer to help raise as much money as possible.
