Local woman to be face of Perth shopping centre after surprise win

Selam Berhanu entered this year’s competition to be the face of Ms en at enex100, and left it her best kept secret.

However the competition had something different in mind for the 19-year-old.

On Sunday, April 14 at the winner announcement event, homegrown beauty Jesinta Campbell announced the winners, and Ms Berhanu was in for a surprise.

‘I had a friend there with me who mentioned she might even have to leave early to finish studying, she didn’t think I was going to take the title home,’ she said.

Ms Berhanu will be joined by Michael Italiano of Balcatta who has been selected as her counterpart and took home the title of Mr ex.

She will receive a $1000 enex100 wardrobe and will star in the 2013/2014 enex100 campaign shoot.
