A new feature of the market was the chance for visitors to win a stallholder produce parcel.

It was lucky Leslee Russell, a visitor from Perth, who took out the prize.

Her mother, Wannamal resident Hazel Fermaner, collected the hamper for her.

A new community committee has been formed to continue the organisation of the markets.

It plans to host the market on the fourth Sunday of each month.

The next Chittering Farmers Market will be held on April 28 from 7.30am to noon on the Edmonds Place Reserve.
