VOLUNTEERS are needed for a melanoma study.
Healthy adults aged older than 40 are sought if they have never had melanoma or other cancers, to act as control subjects for a research project.
The project aims to improve the way melanoma is monitored to ensure treatment efficiency is optimal.
Volunteers would have to donate 40mL (about two tablespoons) of blood.
Lead researcher Leslie Calapre said melanoma was one of the leading causes of cancer death in Australia.
“Your help will be of great benefit to patients suffering from melanoma,” Dr Calapre said.
