The memorial was built last week at Ellenbrook Memorial Amphitheatre, where Anzac services have been held for a number of years.
Ellenbrook RSL memorial committee chairman Alan Rodgers said the memorial was three years in the making.
‘To see it standing in pride of place in the Ellenbrook Memorial Amphitheatre is something which residents of Ellenbrook will cherish for a long time,’ he said.
‘We thank all who contributed in every way to this project.
‘It stands as a beautiful and lasting tribute to all who serve and served our country.’
Funding for the memorial came from the City of Swan and Ellenbrook developer LWP.
A dedication service for the commemorative memorial will be held at Ellenbrook Memorial Amphitheatre on Saturday, October 11, at 10.30am.
The service will be followed by with light refreshments in the Woodlake Community Centre nearby.
