Midland Girl Guide leaders in demand as mentors

GIRL Guide leaders are in demand to help mentor the next generation of young women and organise fun learning activities.

No experience is necessary with training and support offered by Girl Guides WA.

An information session will run at Dome Midland from 6pm to 7pm on Wednesday, October 26.

A new unit planned for girls aged 10 to 13 requires two adult leaders and a helper in Darlington.

Former Girl Guides are encouraged to apply, but a background in guiding is not essential interested women are welcome to apply.

Girls in the popular six to nine age group in Darlington also need a new leader, a unit helper and an administrative assistant for a couple of hours a week.

Darlington Dibbler Girl Guides meet on a Tuesday, 6pm to 7.30pm, at Kathleen Skipsey Hall on Glen Road.

Vacancies for women leaders also exist in Mt Helena, Mundaring, Midland and Ellenbrook.
