The event, sponsored by the City of Swan and Landgate, featured Welcome to Country and Raising of Flags ceremonies as well as art, food and entertainment from talented Aboriginal performers.

Midland Naidoc organising committee representative and Elder Di Ryder said the event was a favourite in the community.

“Gathering together to share food, stories, and song is such an important part of Noongar culture, and the Naidoc Week event is a great opportunity for us to share our culture with everyone,” Ms Ryder said.
