Nature in Focus for Northern Agricultural Catchments Council photography competition

Lucy JarvisThe Advocate

Open to residents in the region, which includes the Shire of Gingin, this year’s competition focuses on action pictures that show how people are caring for the coast, farms, plants and animals.

“In the past we have had amazing photographs entered, many boasting the region’s floral array, landscapes, and sunsets, but this year we are aiming for something a bit different,” communications officer Alexia Parenzee said.

“While we also hope to receive these stunning fauna and landscape shots, we are putting a special emphasis on active pictures, showcasing what caring for the Northern Agricultural Region looks like.”

Categories include caring for our coast, totally wild, Aboriginal connection to country, keeping it green and a farming future.
