NEW Norcia’s Rebecca Martin and her kelpie Tiges will be among 12 competitors taking part in the 2018 Cobber Challenge.
The pair and Darkan’s Karyn Buller and her dog Rosie will represent WA in the competition for farm working dogs next month.
Each dog will wear a GPS tracker for three weeks to record their distance, speed and duration travelled during a working day.
“We had nominations from across the country and you could clearly see how everyone values their dogs, the part they play in the farm business, and their mateship,” Cobber brand manager Marika O’Leary said.
