Steven Coote says he will focus on creating ‘contemporary and future-focused learning cultures’ at the two schools.
Mr Coote has 18 years’ experience in teaching history, design, art and technology.
He also has qualifications in the fields of education, theology, business administration and information technology.
He said he looked forward to bringing the schools into the future.
‘What has traditionally been an industrial-era experience must now shift to a much more relevant, contextual and perpetually-changing model of schools in order to properly engage with and within the third millennium,’ Mr Coote said.
‘My desire is for our students to love life and in doing so gain a deep hope that will transform their world.’
