A P-PLATE driver has been caught doing almost 70km/h over the speed limit with two children in the car.
Police alleged the Hyundai sedan was clocked at 179km/h in a 110km/h zone in Mt Cooke in WA’s north.
It is believed the driver told officers they were running late for a party.
The car has been seized for 28 days.
