Sponsored by Community Newspaper Group, the awards honour people who go above and beyond in service to the community, with the overall winner receiving a cheque for $2000 from Seasons Funerals.

Members of the public can now vote for the winner ” to be announced on April 28. Seasons managing director Erin Erceg said the award was a valuable opportunity to recognise and celebrate those who put in their own time and effort to help others in the community.

‘As the Community Champions Award celebrates community spirit, we felt it was important that the winner was selected by the community itself,’ she said.
