AN Ellenbrook man who was injured during a fight outside The Brook Bar and Bistro last Friday night has died in hospital.

Diego Hulton (37) suffered serious head injuries after he allegedly tried to break up a fight about 10.30pm outside the venue, which had screened the Danny Green and Anthony Mundine fight earlier that night.

Mr Hulton passed away about 4.20pm yesterday at Royal Perth Hospital.

His partner Megan Lockyer took to social media yesterday in the hope of raising awareness against alcohol-fuelled violence, and has started a campaign #keepyourhandstoyourself.
