FAMILIES searching for aged care services close to home will find information on a new government website.
Ellenbrook-based Member for Pearce Christian Porter said the GEN link had details of 73 aged-care zones across Australia.
“Whether you’re an individual or a family looking for aged care information, or a company looking to develop care services, GEN is a new-generation internet tool,” he said.

The GEN website was created from databases including ABS and census data, collected from regional and metropolitan centres.
“Like many people, I am no computer whiz but even I find this website easy to use,” he said.
“This is the first time the information contained in this innovative tool has been stored in a central location.”
