Plan to put waste water to good use

As the Advocate reported in January, the Water Corporation has plans to build a $19 million pump to push Bullsbrook’s wastewater to Ellenbrook by 2020.

Swan Hills MLA Frank Alban queried Minister for Water Terry Redman in Parliament recently about the Water Corporation’s plans for the community’s grey water.

He said Bullsbrook was a rural town and there was ‘some distance’ where the water would need to be piped to Ellenbrook.

‘If a township, with the blessing of the local government would like to use grey water locally for parks, sporting facilities and local amenities’
