Planting day organised for Western Swamp Tortoise

A PLANTING day has been organised to help build up the habitat of the endangered western swamp tortoise.

Join the Friends of the Western Swamp Tortoise, WWF-Australia and Parks and Wildlife on Sunday, June 10, from 9am to noon to help rehabilitate Ellen Brook Nature Reserve.

Meet at the reserve in Almeria Parade, Upper Swan.

Bring wet weather gear, sun protection, sturdy enclosed footwear and long pants.

Plants, tools, gloves and lunch will be provided.
