Police investigate fatal crash on Brand Highway

Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Brand Highway, Muchea yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 2:40pm a silver Holden Rodeo utility travelling south collided with a gold coloured Toyota sedan travelling north near the Chandala Brook Bridge.

The driver of the Toyota, a 25-year-old woman from Thornlie , died at the scene.

A passenger in the Toyota, a 20-year-old woman also from Thornlie, and the driver of the Holden, a 40-year-old man from Bennett Springs, both suffered life-threatening injuries and were airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
