Three dead as police investigate fatal crashes in Bullsbrook and Kununurra

MAJOR Crash officers are investigating two fatal crashes that left three people dead in WA overnight.

A 45-year-old man died early this morning in a single-car crash on Chittering Road in Bullsbrook.

Police were called to the scene, about 200m east of Hurd Road, at 12.10am.

The car was being driven east on Chittering Road when it left the road and went through a bend, hitting a tree.

Anyone with information on the crash, or who witnessed the Holden Statesman prior to the crash, should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.

Major Crash officers will also travel to the north of WA today, after two people died in a crash in Kununurra.

Police were called to the crash at 11.50pm last night on the Gibb River Road, about 180km west of Kununurra.

A passer-by had discovered the crash, involving a car with four adults and two children inside.

A nearby doctor provided first aid before St John Ambulance officers arrived.

Two adults who were in the car died from their injuries.

The adult driver of the car and a child passenger escaped injury.

Another adult received minor injuries, and a second child received serious injuries.

The injured child is being treated at Kununurra Hospital, but will likely be flown to Perth or Darwin for further medical care.
