A MOTORCYCLIST was threatened and his bike remains missing after being robbed in Bullsbrook over the weekend.

A man in his 40s was riding his blue and white, Yamaha YZF-450 off-road Motocross motorcycle in the Gnangara Pine Plantation at about 10.40am on Saturday.

Police said he was flagged down by a group of people on Warbrook Road, who were standing next to a stationary vehicle with its hazard lights on.

When the victim stopped to see if he could help, two men in the group threatened him and demanded his motorcycle.

One of the men rode off on the bike and was last seen travelling in a southerly direction, along with the vehicle.

Police said the motorcycle was sighted around 10.57am, traveling south along Sydney Road in Gnangara.

Detectives would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the Yamaha off-road motorcycle or the group of people in the area around the above times.
