Public pool another empty promise, say Ellenbrook residents

Residents told The Advocate it was another broken promise for the people of Ellenbrook ” just like the rail line pledged in 2008 and the bus rapid transit, which was also not funded in the August 8 budget.

More than 100 people posted comments expressing their disapproval on the Ellenbrook & Surrounds Facebook page.

Kristy Avocone said it took her 20 to 25 minutes to drive to the nearest public pool and ‘it would be great to keep the money in the community for school swimming lessons.’
