RAAF Base Pearce aircraft take flight for 2017

Montana ArdonThe Advocate

PEARCE fast jet military aircraft will commence flying from Thursday for the new year.

Air Combat Group Commander Steve Roberton said flying activities would gradually increase over the next few weeks around Bullsbrook and areas further north as personnel geared up for another busy year.

Fighter jets from RAAF Base Pearce operate over WA, and over the ocean off the north-west coast throughout the year.

“Air Force is committed to ensuring every effort is made to minimise any inconvenience to residents living in these areas,” Air Commodore Roberton said.
