THE RAC rescue helicopter has been sent to a crash in Lower Chittering after a car left the road and hit a tree.
The accident happened about 3.10pm today on the corner of Great Northern Highway and Wandena Road.
It is believed a man was trapped during the accident and has been flown to Royal Perth Hospital.
