Residents urged to be on look out for thieves, vandals

Thieves cut padlocks to gain access to a sea container and stole power tools and construction equipment.

The property owner’s gate and bobcat were also damaged.

Brigadoon residents are asked to be vigilant in protecting their property and to look out for their neighbours.

Ellenbrook Police Officer in Charge John Waghorn said containers could have alarms, sensor lights or other security options to make them less vulnerable to theft.

‘Brigadoon is normally pretty quiet and this is the first sea container incident there in about 12 months,’ he said.
