Revamped Gingin aquatic centre now open

Montana ArdonThe Advocate

Pearce MHR Christian Porter and Nationals MLC Martin Aldridge cut the ribbon to open the new look centre with Shire of Gingin president David Roe.

The pool was re-tiled and had solar heating installed during the off-season.

The tiling was partly funded by the Department of Sport and Recreation and the solar heating part funded by the Stronger Communities Program and the Gingin Super Seals Swimming Club.

Mr Porter said the aquatic centre was an integral part of the Gingin community.
