The Labor Party reshuffle follows the resignation of Ken Travers from the shadow cabinet last month.

She said it was pleasing to see several projects in the area underway or complete, but there was still a long way to go.

"There is still much to be done, including a train line to Ellenbrook, the upgrading of key roads such as Lord Street, and the provision of quality bus services to the growing suburbs," she said.
