SANDALFORD Winery is showing the rest of the field how it is done, bringing home six major gongs in the space of three days.

The Caversham winery took out three categories at the 2016 WA Tourism Awards on Saturday night , including best for tourism wineries, distilleries and breweries (the ninth time the company has been awarded this prize); best for tourism restaurants and catering service; and best for Chinese tourism.

Last night, Sandalford backed up its success from the weekend and took home another three awards at the annual Gold Plate catering awards function.

The Bill Thompson Award for Excellence in Service was awarded to employee Jake Tolich, as well as the Prix D’Honneur for winning Best Restaurant in a Winery for four consecutive years, and the Gold Plate for Best Tourism Restaurant in WA.
