“It is a true testament to the team effort of the 50-plus staff and volunteers that make up the Shalom House team.

“Shalom House has been operating for only four-and-a- half years, but the impact that it has had not only on the lives of men but also on the lives of countless families within our program and the general community as a whole has been tremendous.

“It is very humbling to have this recognised by a business such as Telstra, which is a highly respected organisation within not just the community but across the country and the globe.”

The Telstra Business Awards will be held on Friday night at Crown Perth.
