ELLENBROOK Men’s Shed is hosting a shed sale to help fund equipment upgrades and repair vandalism.

The sale and open day will be on Saturday, December 5, at the men’s shed with hand tools, heavy equipment and handcrafted items for sale.

Shed president John Wincott said property damage had hindered the organisation.

“This has meant security has had to be increased with stronger doors, installation of CCTV cameras and barbed wire protection, which all increases the costs for this charitable organisation,” he said.

The sale starts at 10am and will continue until stock runs out.

Shed members will be at The Shops in Ellenbrook this Saturday to display a variety of products made by local craftsmen.

Ellenbrook Men’s Shed is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 3pm, but talks are underway to expand its hours.
