CEOs sleep rough for homelessness

Joel KellyThe Advocate

The night before – come rain, hail or shine – Mr Cameron will be sleeping rough at the WACA ground to raise awareness of the plight of the homeless.

He will join about 110 other West Australian CEOs braving the cold as part of the annual Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout.

The event started in Sydney in 2006 and spread nationally to raise millions for the homeless cause.

It is Mr Cameron’s first year in the sleepout and he has set himself a target of raising $5000.

“St Vinnes ask that you have a personal target of at least $5000. I must say I thought this was quite daunting, but have been pleasantly surprised by people’s generosity to date,” he said.
