Small business ombudsman wants feedback on payment terms

THE Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman is inviting feedback from small businesses on payment terms and times as part of a national inquiry.

“Cash-flow and payment terms are among the biggest issues small businesses face,” Pearce MHR Christian Porter said.

“This inquiry is seeking feedback from small businesses right across Australia to ensure payment terms are fair.”

The inquiry follows nation-wide consultation on issues that affected Australia’s 2.1 million small businesses during 2016.

The survey is open until the end of February and can be accessed via asbfeo.gov.au . Email submissions to inquiries@asbfeo.gov.au .
