STUDENTS from St Helena’s Catholic Primary School in Ellenbrook took to the stage recently at La Salle College to perform in the school’s first ever musical.

Performing back-to-back shows, 51 talented actors from Year 4 to Year 6 entertained the audience with their performance of Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids.

Principal Lina Bertolini said she was proud of her students.

“I believe that more than a few of these students have a future ahead of them on the stage,” she said.

The audience was taken on a journey through the jungle with catchy songs and dances, with an eye- catching backdrop that set the scene.

Stand-out performers in the show included Lidia Company as Baloo, Levi Hawksworth as Mowgli, Rebecca Dendy as Shere Khan, Alexandra Grocke as Bagheera and Aaliyah Frew as Shanti.
