Stunning new adventure playground opening in Aveley this Saturday

A BRAND new adventure playground is set to open in Aveley this Saturday at the new Vale development.

Kids will be able to try out the innovative play equipment which includes a discovery zone where they can search for hidden dinosaur fossils in the sand.

Other highlights include are a natural-themed play area with a timber maze, troughs for water play, a dual flying fox, musical instruments, pyramid climbing net and slides.

To celebrate the opening a free family event will be held from 9am to 12pm this Saturday, with face painting, balloon twisting, a jumping castle and rock decorating.

There will also be a free sausage sizzle and popcorn, with a coffee van for mums and dads.

Col Dutton, General Manager for Stockland WA, invited families from near and far to come along to celebrate.

“The opening of this new adventure park represents another milestone achievement for our award-winning Vale community and we are looking forward to celebrating with residents and visitors,’’ Mr Dutton said.

“This event is another way for Vale residents to spend some quality time with their families in our great outdoors and it will also provide an opportunity for them to meet their neighbours and even make some new friends.’’

The new park has been delivered by the Aveley Community Fund which was established by Stockland and the City of Swan to provide for infrastructure projects.
