SWAN Christian College is raising money for a school in Zambia by holding its bi-annual fundraising quiz this Friday.

The quiz hopes to raise $8000 towards building a toilet block for the College’s Light Up Ahead School in Kantolomba in Zambia.

“In 2008, we researched the community of Kantolomba and realised that there were not enough schools for the great volume of local children; no police station, no free clean water and no health clinic,” he said.

“Knowing that education has the power to change lives motivated us to build a school for the people of Kantolomba.”
