Eleven students from years 5 and 7, accompanied by teachers Sharna Ashby and Kate Eggleston, flew to Christchurch in New Zealand for the competition.

Created in New Zealand 16 years ago, Jump Jam encourages and develops children’s fitness through choreographed acrobatics.

It first came to Perth schools about three years ago, with SVACS students training and holding fundraisers for the competition since the start of the school year.
