“After many months of trying, our lease has not been renewed and we have been asked to vacate.

“We nearly made it to nine years! Charlotte and Julie are both so very grateful for all your support over this time.”

The couple are trying to sell the Swan Valley Cafe brand and assets.

“Julie and Charlotte are taking this opportunity to hang up their wholefood hats and spend some time with their families and pursuing new adventures,” the café wrote on its Facebook page.

“But over the past nine years Swan Valley Cafe has taken on a life of its own with a loyal following, many exclusive house recipes, a database, social media presence, and a strong brand for quality vegetarian, gluten-free food.

“You may also wish to continue or even focus on the catering side of the business.

“All you need to do is secure a venue, and it doesn’t have to be in the Swan Valley. The Swan Valley Cafe would love to find a new home and will be embraced by any community it lives in.”
