Swan Valley: Entwined in the Valley to return in October

CITY of Swan has announced its latest campaign to promote the Swan Valley region.

Entwined in the Valley will give people a chance to meet and learn from local producers, artists and chefs.

The event series will run from October 12 to 15 at various locations around the Swan Valley and will include opportunities to pick up impressive culinary skills, indulge at a long-table lunch, get competitive at a barbecue cook-off, unwind with jazz music and sample famous local wines.

Mayor Mick Wainwright said Entwined was an annual celebration of everything the Swan Valley stood for, and was all about supporting and cultivating the authentic, homegrown food region.

“These events will provide intimate, unique opportunities to learn from local craftsman and in some cases create your own masterpieces,” he said.

“We are incredibly lucky to have plenty of fresh seasonal produce, imaginative chefs, accomplished winemakers, award-winning wineries, the warmest hospitality and passionate artisan producers on our doorstep.

“It’s a privilege to work with the industry to celebrate the Swan Valley’s legacy and welcome people to our world class tourism destination.”

Tickets will be available from September 1 at www.entwinedinthevalley.com.au.
