THE SWAN Valley will be promoted to the world at the 2017 NATAS Travel Fair in Singapore this month.
The fair is held annually and attracts exhibitors from across the globe, with the City of Swan to hold a media event highlighting the region’s finest local produce and tourism experiences.
Mayor Mick Wainwright said being part of the fair was an excellent business and tourism opportunity.
“This event is a great way to promote the region internationally and help make its mark in the international economic market and tourism sector,” he said.
“The Swan Valley is one of WA’s premier tourism regions and destinations and this is a chance to let everybody know that.”
The event will feature local representatives such as Allyson Kundid from the Swan Valley Grape Growers Association, Swan Valley Humane Food Ambassador Caroline Taylor, who will cook on the night and certified wine specialist and judge Hwee Oeng Lim, who will match some of the Swan Valley’s best wines with Asian Cuisine.
