Tireless work scores Hero of the Month title for Lions Club of Ellenbrook member

ELLENBROOK resident Rob Longmire has been recognised for his contribution to the community, being named Hero of the Month for his work as a member of the Lions Club of Ellenbrook.

Mr Longmire had been nominated also for his tireless work with the wider community, lending a hand wherever needed and giving up his time and talents generously.

He is best known for his work with the Lions Club train, which he drives at many community events as well as being a cheerful and humble community member.

Ellenbrook Community Collective chairwoman Cate McCullough said Mr Longmire was an asset to the community.

“Hero of the Month is for anyone who is making a significant contribution to the community, like Rob,” she said.

“I would encourage anyone in the community to nominate someone they believe is a community hero and is making a contribution.”
