ARSON Squad detectives have charged a 32-year-old Toodyay man who allegedly lit a bushfire in wetlands on Altone Road, Kiara, on December 27.
It is alleged the man was seen near the fire, which started about 4pm, and sustained injuries from it.

He was treated at hospital and charged with wilfully lighting a fire likely to injure or damage.
He is scheduled to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court on January 24.
