Vale IGA makes donation to Aveley PS for new sporting goods

The donation, which was made by Vale IGA, was used to purchase the equipment, which will help promote exercise and having a healthy and active lifestyle.

School physical education teacher Mitchell Harvie said the donation meant early childhood education at the school had their own sporting equipment.

“The students and staff love having their own equipment,” he said.

“We’re so thankful to IGA for the money to buy this equipment, which will help promote a healthy active lifestyle at a young age.”

Vale IGA owner Gabriel Pereira said it was great to be involved and support a local school.

“We are located near the school and we thought it was a great cause to donate the money,” he said.

“The kids look like they love the new equipment and I’m sure it will be well used by the school.”
