SWAN Valley Anglican Community School celebrated Medieval Day recently.

Year 8 students took part in archery, jousting, medieval dancing, donned costumes and a delicious ye olde medieval banquet.

The day was the culminating event for the Year 8 medieval history program and widely anticipated by staff and students.

Swan Valley Anglican Community School’s associate principal middle school Debbie Davies said history played a major role in understanding today’s society.
