SQUADS of “champion dads” will be the WAFL’s latest development project at this Saturday’s round 23 games.
There will be little league games for dads and children, bouncy castles, food trucks, goal kicking contests and merchandise giveaways.
The activities will be at Claremont Showgrounds, Lathlain Park, East Fremantle Oval and Arena Joondalup tomorrow, starting at 1pm.

READ NOWThe round marks the WAFL’s support for The Fathering Project, which aims to unite fathers in an effort to encourage the importance of paternal bonding in children’s wellbeing and in the prevention of child self-abuse, drug use and suicide.
The project has been backed by funding and research from UWA since 2015.
