Warning downgraded for Bullsbrook bushfire

A BUSHFIRE emergency warning for a blaze north east of Perth has been downgraded to a watch and act.

The initial alert level for the Bullsbrook fire, which was reported at 10.50am was a watch and act, but that was quickly upgraded to an emergency warning just after 11.30am as conditions worsened.

Firefighters are on the scene of the blaze which, started near Ellenbrook Road.

“There is a possible threat to lives and homes as a fire is burning in the area and the conditions are changing,” DFES said.
