A Pokemon Go Hunt has been organised to take place in Whiteman Park.

WHITEMAN Park will turn into a Pokemon-fan frenzy on Sunday when it hosts a Pokemon Go Hunt.

Chariots of Hire and Whiteman Park Print Shop created the event, which will take place between 10am and 12.30pm.

Part one of the Hunt will begin at the Visitors Information Centre in The Village section of the park, with lures activated around The Village from 10am.

Part two will see the Pokemon faithful make their own way to Mussel Pool to continue the Hunt, with lures activated from 11am.

Mussel Pool can be reached by walking, driving, hiring a Pedal Play go-kart, taking the train or the tram, and word on the street is that players can hatch 2km eggs while travelling on the tram.

Wearing your team colours or dressing as your favourite Pokemon is encouraged.

All are welcome to take part in the Hunt held in one of the world’s largest metropolitan parks.
