Woman accused of ‘dine and dash’ offence to appear in Perth Magistrates Court

A WOMAN who claims she was the subject of a “witch hunt” will appear in Perth Magistrates Court today charged with leaving a restaurant without paying.

Lois Loder (44) was arrested on Sunday, April 22 and charged by Major Fraud Squad officers with eight offences including using a false credit card to buy alcohol in Duncraig on February 16 and not paying for food and drinks at a Henley Brook restaurant on April 7.

Ms Loder is accused of driving a car with stolen plates and using false credit card details to pay for a hotel room in North Beach on two occasions in February.

She also has a number of outstanding charges from 2017, where a guilty plea had already been entered including possessing stolen property and breach of bail.

Ms Loder started a Go Fund Me page asking the people of Perth to help pay for her legal fees.
