Busy road dangerous

Wally Schiel, BullsbrookThe Advocate

With so many visitors already to the Maze and even more expected to the Splash, I think the shire really needs to look at putting in dedicated turn lanes on an already very busy Neaves Road.

The speed limit is 100km/h there and with the Maze situated on a curve it is an accident waiting to happen.

Twice I have had to brake heavily when the driver of a vehicle in front made a last-minute decision to turn into the Maze and they suddenly hit the brakes and turn indicator.

The road doesn’t leave much room for evasion and with large trucks moving at speed it could be a problem.
