A LOVE of the outdoors coupled with a desire for space led Michael and Grace Wastle to Avon Ridge, where they found the perfect spot for their dream home among the rolling hills of Brigadoon.

“One weekend we drove through the streets of Avon Ridge after seeing it online and almost immediately went into the sales office to register our interest,” Mr Wastle said.

The couple decided on a 1.5ha block and are planning and designing their new home, which is sure to include an outdoor entertaining area and a big shed.

“The best part about it though is our love for outdoors has now combined with where we’ll be living – we love mountain bike riding, four-wheel driving and the outdoors in general,” Mr Wastle said.

“As well as how big the land was, the location was perfect for us too. I’m a mechanic in Midland which is not too far away. Grace works in Gosnells, but she doesn’t mind the drive at all, and after living in Caversham, we feel like we know this area really well already.

“Our five-year-old German Shepherd Loki will also love the space of the block that he’ll get to enjoy – it’s really just a win-win for us all.”

Buyers wanting to join the Wastles at Avon Ridge have a limited time opportunity to save $30,000 off selected blocks through the Score More with Peet campaign.

A new land release comprising 12 blocks has just been launched at the community.

Ranging from just over 1.5ha to almost 3.5ha and priced between $349,000 and $639,000, they are surrounded by natural bushland and only minutes from a landscaped park equipped with barbecue facilities and stunning views.
